Alison Anderson

Alison Anderson is Professor of Sociology at the University of Plymouth and Adjunct Professor in the School of Social Sciences, Monash University, Australia. She is a founding member of the International Environmental Communication Association (IECA) and past Editor-in-Chief of the Routledge journal Environmental Communication. She is author of Media, Environment and the Network Society (Palgrave, 2014) and Media, Culture & the Environment (Routledge, 1997) as well as numerous articles on climate change communication. In November 2021 she held a Green Zone event at COP26 on ‘Visualizing climate change: Young people’s responses to the climate emergency’.
